Privacy Policy
In short, we won't share information about you with anyone, unless you
say we can.
Nectarine City will not share any information about you without your
clear, prior consent, either in writing or in an electronic document
you have digitally signed using reasonably strong cryptography.
Further, Nectarine City will not host data about you on any system
which demands or permits a more lenient privacy policy.
Nectarine City transmits and receives data using reasonable
cryptographic protocols whenever it is feasible and appropriate to do
so in pursuit of protecting your information. Nectarine City will not
be held responsible for reduced privacy caused by you or those
providing other services to you (such as the email server of your
ISP).
Good cryptographic systems should be under constant scrutiny.
Reasonably strong cryptography, for the purposes of this policy,
means a cryptographic system that a. is publicly available for review,
b. has undergone some review by a reputable cryptographer --
preferably a community of reputable cryptographers, and c. has no yet
known significant vulnerabilities among those who have reviewed it.
Reasonably strong cryptography will therefore not necessarily
remain reasonably strong forever.
We reserve the right to retain all paper and electronic documents and
messages indefinitely. This includes, but is not limited to, email,
web page requests, chat sessions, and voice mail. We may also try to
put a cookie in your web browser, because it makes your experience of
our web site nicer. Our web sites are designed to operate with the
same functionality, but degraded ease of use, if you do not permit
cookies in your browser.
In our philosophy, the only thing that trumps the maxim 'information
wants to be free' is the need for personal privacy. We therefore take
all reasonable measures to protect your privacy.
